CloseOnyx

Noted for its unique, colorful patters formed in its surface, Onyx is widely used for art and decoration more so than for standard countertops. Onyx forms as a type of marble and patterns change on the rate of cell growth in the stone. Variations that differentiate it from other calcite include unique crystal patterns and color, varying degrees of translucency and transparency, the ability to accept various degrees of polish, including high polish, and it's resistance to fading from exposure to sunlight.

Onyx can be carved and polished into elegant pieces of decorative décor, including sculptures, pillars, vanity bowls, and walls, niches, and showers that can be illuminated from behind.
